Real are desperate to bring in a new frontman after losing Ruud van Nistelrooy for the rest of the season due to a knee injury, with Crespo currently out of favor at the San Siro.

However, the former Chelsea, Lazio and Parma star has mixed feelings about heading to the Bernabeu.

He told AS: "I could go to another team, but I would rather play less but win more.

"I would rather stay on and help the team win titles, even if I play less football.

"Sometimes it happens where you will play less, but that's how it goes when you are at a big club."
